Intended Use

This kit is intended for qualitative detection of common pathogens of urogenital infections, including Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG), Chlamydia trachomatis (CT), Ureaplasma urealyticum (UU), Herpes Simplex Virus Type 1 (HSV1), Herpes Simplex Virus Type 2 (HSV2), Mycoplasma hominis (Mh), Mycoplasma genitalium ( Mg) in male urinary tract and female genital tract secretion samples.

Epidemiology

Sexually transmitted diseases (STD) remain one of the major threats to global public health security, which can lead to infertility, preterm birth, tumorigenesis, and various serious complications. There are many types of STD pathogens, including bacteria, viruses, chlamydia, mycoplasma, and spirochetes. NG, CT, UU, HSV 1, HSV 2, Mh, Mg are more common.
